If you think appreciation of rupee is actually slowing down the software companies based out of India, well, you have to think again. Indian division of Capgemini, a French, consulting, technology and outsourcing company said it plans to take Indian employee number from present 17,500 to 40,000 by 2010.

 
Capgemini presently has centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata    and Pune. Cap Gemini has offers services in areas like retail, telecom, manufacturing, energy, utilities, finance and public sector.

 
Cap Gemini which has presence in US, Australia and European countries employs 80,000 employees and has plans to take the number up to 110,000 by 2010.
