
Avaya in its recent research has stated that compared to $113 million in 2005 and $123 million in 2006, the world spend on call center and BPO industry will rise to $133.2 million in this year and $123 million in $145.4 million in 2008.
The study finds out what are the most popular business processes to outsource across different industries.
1. Customer relationship management (CRM)
2. Human resource services
3. Financial Services (Retail Banking, Insurance Claims, Billing and Debt Collections)
North America definitely has the largest share of the BPO market, followed closely by Europe, Asia Pacific and central and Latin America, Middle East and Africa, according to Avaya research. Interestingly, many of these markets that outsource services also are home to expanding outsourcing industries.
