Videocon Shahrukh Dhoni ad: The story
In the Videocon advertisement SRK is getting into Indian jersey, the tricolors while Dhoni dresses like Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om. The Videocon ad starts with two brothers getting separated from each other in a Kumbh ka Mela and then reunited later in life, a spoof from 70s film, a hot idea after super hit Om Shanti Om. Shahrukh becomes a cricketer while Dhoni a movie superstar.
The idea behind
Lets here what Mr. Jyoti Shekhar, VP Marketing, Videocon says, “Videocon has created magic by bringing both the super stars together on a single platform to create a unique campaign. The core idea of the campaign is to celebrate the spirit of success - no matter the role life gives you, always play it big and emerge as a champion.”
It is heard that both the superstars, SRK and MS Dhoni gel pretty well on the set. Ogilvy and Mather (O&M) has created the Videocon ad.

Dhoni proved himself a very good actor on the screen. This is what Sharuhh has to say about the swashbuckling cricketer,
It was really nice working with Dhoni. He is so humble and always smiling. He has a great sense of humour and was really sporting about the whole shoot. He was also very professional and really good at acting too. I had a great day with him and wish him all the best for cricket and acting

The ad has been directed by Sumonto Chattopadhyay, He says,
Dhoni has a great sense of humour and that really comes across in the ad. In fact despite his tight schedules, he was more than ready to give all his time if the shots weren’t alright.
