The phone interview went all well, to conclude the deal, they wanted to see the candidate, because, neither my friend can fly off to interviewer’s place, nor any one of them can come to my friend’s city. So, they arranged a video conferencing interview or a video interview. My friend, being a game to newer things (I know some of his stories ;-)) said yes to the interview. He dressed for the
interview, I don’t know whether he took bath or not, because that was not needed nor he needed any deodorant...hehe. The interview went well, and he got selected.
Certainly a cost effective way to select a senior level management guy for the HR team sitting thousand miles away.
Video interviewing, unheard of even half a decade ago, has now become a trend of sort.
