Over last few months many outsourcing companies and parent companies have set up outsourcing facilities in US itself or have settled for near shore alternatives. But that does not mean US companies will bring back all outsourcing works to home. In fact they will blend services from now onwards. Customer facing processes and services can be located to nearshore or home centers and back office operations will be done in far off countries like India, Philippines.

There have been some issues about cultural barriers, that Indian and Philippines or Chinese call center agents could not deal well enough with US customers or rather empathize with them.
