Well, the festive season is on and you have your plan ready to hit the chosen holiday spot or grand mom’s village or whatever for the holidays. You have spoken with your boss and/or HR department regarding the Christmas Vacation or New Year Vacation 2008 and (hopefully) you got their consent. Now officially its time to write a vacation leave letter and hand it over (or shoot over mail) to the concerned department.

No need to bang your head for a sample vacation leave letter. Here it goes, it’s a sample leave letter, so edit it accordingly.

Dear Sir:

In celebration of the coming Christmas and New Year Holidays, I would like to ask your good office the approval to let me have a vacation leave from December 15, 2007 to January 15, 2008.
