If acquiring talents and retaining them have been the biggest challenges for Indian HR teams across the country, they will to live with the syndromes in this New Year too. As India Inc. is witnessing a growth in most of the sectors, it will have to deal with the impacting variables like these in 2008 as well.
Among other sectors, industry analysts believe that sectors like KPO, LPO, pharmaceutical and design outsourcing, retail, infrastructure, financial services, telecommunication will experience highest rate of attrition throughout the year. 
Ganesh Shermon, partner & head, human capital advisory services, KPMG India feels, “With manufacturing leading them all, KPO, design outsourcing and retail will be the sectors which will see major activity, increased hiring, hence growing retention issues.”
