GE’s business process outsourcing wing Genpact has announced that it has acquired Axis Risk Consulting Services. Axis is an independent India-based risk consulting firm which delivers plethora of risk assurance services.
The actual terms of the agreement or the worth of the contract is not being disclosed. It is learnt that Axis would operate as an independent unit of Genpact within its governance practice. The take over will strengthen Genpact’s financial, planning and analysis offerings. 
Genpact President & CEO, Pramod Bhasin on the development said,
The integrated risk and technology solutions we will be offering our US and European clients as a result of this acquisition will remove a lot of time, pain and costs associated with governance and risk management
