Let me tell you an interesting story here, In 1954, couple of guys called Jay Van Andel and Rich DeVoss started a flying school. They thought of teaching students how to fly irrespective of the fact both of them don’t know how to fly. So, they hired experienced people to teach their students flying. 
So, the core of the study is, not necessarily we do all our own work, its better to leave the specialized task to specialized people. (Read here: Marketing rules for outsourcing success.)
It’s also important to motivate the team and let everyone work towards a single direction. Outsourcing a third party should not create a panic among the staff members.
