Software major IBM has informed that it would expand its business centre in India for 'Second Life', supposedly the largest virtual world in the internet. IBM for now plans to add sales representatives for the country. IBM centre will add employees for the project not only in India but also in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, with dedicated pavilions for China and Japan. IBM said on ‘Second Life’ they would add new islands for these above mentioned countries.

Through Second Life, viewers will be able to check IBM and its range of products in 3D format virtually. It will also give IBM sales people a platform; they can meet clients and partners, learn, discuss, collaborate and conduct business strategies together as all happens virtually and without the cost of travel.

Employees from the Unites States, Europe, Latin America, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore are working at the business centre since early this year.
