UAE’s IT service outsourcing is growing fast and the market will come from the faster adoption of information systems outsourcing contracts and greater services investment by small and medium-sized businesses, Raqmiyat, a UAE-based systems integrator, said according to Gulfnews.
Tapas Roy, chief operating officer of Raqmiyat, a primary IT company of the Al Ghurair Group, said
The government, finance, manufacturing, transportation and telecoms industries remain key vertical markets for spending on IT services in the UAE while the central government was among the largest individual vertical, followed by the banking sector
Dubai Outsourcing Zone was set up in 2004, now the park houses more than 70 companies including Emirates airline, telecom service provider du and Mashreq bank.
