The legacy is on. Russian IT outsourcing company, Luxoft will set up its first Asian offshore center in Vietnam. Russia which supported Vietnam in 1960s during American aggression to the country, now almost three and half decade later is showing the same empathy to the Asian country which over the years has changed a lot and the newer generation embraced Americanized culture and food in a big way. IBM and Intel have already set up development centers in Vietnam, both US country, under much fane fare and positive (and encouraging) media report.
For Luxoft a center in Vietnam is its first low cost Asian center. In Russia it has centers in Moscow, Dubna, St. Petersburg, Omsk, Odessa, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, and in Vancouver, Canada
