You don’t need a research for that. Anyway, lets hear it from BBC. BBC reports that the pay and prospects of entry and junior level IT support staff in the United Kingdom has not been appraised as more and more services have been relocated to India. Lowest end verticals have not enjoyed any salary hike for past five years. Now that’s scary, isn’t it? Association of Technology Staffing Companies (ATSCO) has prepared the report. It stated that salary for these staff has stagnated at £18,000 for last five years. However, pay for managers have risen by 205 over this period.
It is felt that with this trend comes a vacuum in the middle level management, as less and less people will be keen to join the industry. Quality of human resource also will suffer.
