Sundaram Business Services (SBS) Ltd., the contact center arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, has launched a new BPO center in Chennai, Tamilnadu. This is its fifth delivery center of Sundaram BPO and it will house 200 people. SBS focuses on 'Non-Voice' support service. It also has BPO facilities in Mumbai and Madurai, its first in a Tier-2 city, where it plans to hire 500 employees this year.
SBS provides accounting services, auto and consumer loans processing, deposit processing and insurance related processing services. It also offers accounts payable services, where it manages over 1 lakh. Accounts payable transactions every year and payroll processing, where it services over 8000 employee payroll records.
